Walks & Bimbles

As part of our varied programme of social and wellbeing activities, Blended Wellbeing offers regular Bimbles and Walk & Talks, giving members the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people and discover beautiful places across Oxfordshire and beyond.

Whether you are looking for a gentle stroll, a scenic country walk or a more challenging hike, there is something for everyone. As our walking programme continues to grow, we felt it deserved a page of its own!

Bimbles

Our Bimbles are shorter, flatter and more leisurely walks, currently centred around the historic village of Benson. They are ideal for anyone who prefers a gentler pace or is returning to walking following an injury, illness or period of inactivity.

These walks are all about taking time to chat, enjoy good company and experience the wellbeing benefits of being outdoors—without feeling rushed or left behind.

Every Bimble is led by a designated Walk Leader who has completed the online Ramblers Walk Leader course, giving you confidence that each route has been planned with both enjoyment and safety in mind.

Walk & Talks

Our Walk & Talks range from gentle countryside walks to longer hikes in a variety of locations across Oxfordshire, giving members the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, great conversation, beautiful scenery and, for those who wish, the chance to challenge themselves with longer routes in safe company.

Every walk is recced in advance and, wherever possible, finishes at a café or pub for a well-earned drink or bite to eat.

Walks take place on different days and at different times throughout the month to suit as many members as possible.

Every Walk & Talk is led by a designated Walk Leader who has completed the online Ramblers Walk Leader course, giving you confidence that each route has been planned with both enjoyment and safety in mind.

You will find us walking in and around Benson, Wallingford, Didcot, Abingdon, Goring, Cholsey, Pangbourne, Blewbury, Oxford, Chalgrove, Watlington, Thame, Henley, Marlow and beyond—with new locations being added as Blended Wellbeing continues to grow.
